This page contains my own notes and tips on the upcoming game [[https://www.robertsspaceindustries.com|Star Citizen]] that is currently in alpha and is available as a playable demo/test.

Many of these options can be set permanently by creating (or modifying) the ''user.cfg'' file.

This file can be found at ''C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\USER\user.cfg''.

===== Monitor frame rate and memory usage display =====

From the console (press `) run the following command:

''r_displayinfo 3''

You can make this permanent by adding ''r_displayinfo = 3'' to ''user.cfg''.
===== Disable frame rate lock =====

By default Star Citizen locks the frame rate to 30fps.  This can be set to a value of your choosing by adding ''sys_MaxFps = 60'' to your ''user.cfg''.
