====== nginx ====== I now host my website(s) on [[http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/|Amazon EC2]] on a small instance running [[Debian]]. This capacity is enough for the volume of traffic I receive on this site these days when running [[https://nginx.org|nginx]]. [[https://httpd.apache.org/|Apache HTTPD]] has served me pretty well going all the way back to some gnarly version of 1.3 and it's a great server to build complex CGI apps with but I don't need anything like that these days. Apache 2.4 was not available in wheezy-backports at that time I decided to make the switch. There are some other advantages to this change, particularly in terms of memory footprint and general resource use on a more limited capacity VM. ===== Pages =====
